BELTANGO AT BUDAPEST FRINGE FESTIVALBELTANGO Quintet and their friends from Budapest, tango couple Joselito & Juanita, will give a TANGO SHOW at traditional BUDAPEST FRINGE FESTIVAL. The venue for their performance is MERLIN Theatre, famed for its alternative programming. For about ten days, this Festival, a unique world culture fair, will present over 200 acclaimed artistic companies, theatre companies, orchestras, and soloists at five different locations.

LAGUMI on RTV STB - “Story of Tango”Tango will be the topic of this evening’s RTV Studio B’s show Lagumi /Underground Passages/, designed and run by a well-known painter and TV hostess Biljana Vilimon. The story of tango will be told by Argentinean writer and translator Ms Silvia Monros-Stojaković, who has been a resident of Belgrade for several years now, and Mr Aleksandar Nikolić, a founder of Beltango Quintet and BTA President. During the show, BTA instructors Dragan and Jelena will tango in the studio. |

The show will be broadcast live on RTS satellite program.

"IN VINO" – III International Wine Festival at Sava CenterFor the third year in a row, Sava Center is hosting IN VINO Wine Festival. This year, our young musicians from TANGO JUVENTUD will provide musical highlights for the opening ceremony. They will share the stage with tango couples of the Belgrade Tango Association.  A concert of BELTANGO Quintet at Madlenianum Opera & Theater main stage on Saturday, March 11, 2006, at 8pm, will mark the beginning of an outstanding music and dance spectacle titled PIAZZOLLANDO. With this spectacle, the Belgrade Tango Association celebrates the 85th anniversary of the birth of great Argentinean composer Astor Piazzolla. The program features special guests – Joselito & Juanita, a tango couple from Budapest, and a milonga at Bel Etage, with TANGO JUVENTUD orchestra performing in the latter part of the program.
